Waste Management Agrees To Provide Extra Leaf Pickup
Waste Management has agreed to extend leaf collection in to a mini-week beginning Monday, December 4th, 2017. This will be a rapid pickup and WILL NOT follow the regular schedule. The collection will finish once the entire Village has been swept through once, either Tuesday, December 5th or Wednesday, December 6th.
To ensure pickup, your leaves must be out to the parkway (not in the street) by Monday, December 4th at 6:00 a.m.
Residents with leaves remaining after Wednesday, December 6th will need to find other arrangements if they wish to have leaf removal. An option we recommend is to either winterize the leaves until the Unlimited Free Yardwaste Collection event in the Spring, or to mulch the leaves.
