Unlimited Landscape Waste Collection April 5th -9th

The Village of Gurnee's refuse/recycling hauler will be collecting unlimited containerized landscape at no charge beginning Monday, April 5th and ending Friday, April 9th. Landscape waste will be collected on your normal pick-up day.

In order for landscape waste to be collected, it must containerized in either a Kraft-type paper bag not to exceed 45 pounds or a rigid can not to exceed 32 gallons. Brush/branches will also be collected if bundled in bundles not to exceed 2 feet in diameter or 4 feet in length. Bundles must also not exceed 60 pounds. Individual branches cannot be wider than 3 inches in diameter, and all bundles must be secured with string or twine.

Landscape waste must be placed at the curb or the edge of the road by 6:00 a.m. Failure to have materials out at this time could result in waste not being collected. As a result, you will have to wait until the annual collection program begins on April 12th and follow the regular collection guidelines.
