The offender walked into the lobby of the hotel, placed a black duffle bag on the counter and instructed the desk clerk to put cash inside.  The desk clerk fled to an adjacent office, locked the door and called police.  The offender fled without obtaining any cash.  The area was searched by officers and police k-9 units but the offender was not located.
