FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

GURNEE, IL ­- July 28, 2010 - The recent report of an attack on a female jogger on Almond Road near Woodland Middle School has been determined to be unfounded. Information received from the public assisted investigators in discovering evidence that the woman’s injuries were not the result of any criminal act. The investigation has been administratively closed.

The Gurnee Police Department would like to thank the public for coming forward with information that lead to the quick closure of this investigation.
