Who maintains the roadways in Gurnee?

The roadways in Gurnee fall under the jurisdiction of several public entities. Each entity is responsible for the maintenance of these roads, which includes snow plow operations:

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) maintains Grand Ave, Route 45, Skokie Hwy-Route 41, Milwaukee-Route 21, and Belvidere-Route 120.
  • The Lake County Department of Transportation (LCDOT) maintains Dilleys, Washington, O'Plaine, Delany north of Route 41, Stearns School, Gages Lake,  Hunt Club, and Rollins.
