The Gurnee Police and Fire Departments offer free child safety seat inspections in order to assist parents in protecting the lives of the Village's youngest residents. The Village currently has 22 certified child safety seat technicians who will inspect, instruct, and correct improperly installed child safety seats.
 

Child Safety Seat Inspection events are scheduled during the year and posted to this page. Additionally, residents who wish to take advantage of this service, or who have any questions regarding child safety seats, should call or visit:
