On Saturday, May 21st from 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., the Gurnee Fire Department will be participating in Fire/Safety Expo 2011, presented by the Lake County Fire Chief's Association. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Parking Lot B (between Sears Grand/Bed, Bath & Beyond) at Gurnee Mills.

The event combines fire safety education with fun for the entire family. Features of the day include:

• Take a ride in a fire truck
• Jaws of life demonstration
