4. Minor Sign Exception: Warren Township
(Nu-Glo Sign Company, on behalf of Warren Township, is requesting a Minor Exception to the Sign Ordinance to allow a decrease in the required 8-inch letter height on a sign panel replacement of an existing freestanding (ground) sign located at the petitioner’s new youth and family services center/special recreation center, located at 100 Greenleaf Street. The property is zoned C/O-1, Restricted Office District.)
5. Minor Sign Exception: Carriage House Apartments
(Kornerstone Signs & Graphics, on behalf of Carriage House Apartments, is requesting a Minor Exception to the Sign Ordinance to allow a reduced setback for the installation of a new freestanding (ground) sign for the existing Carriage House Apartment complex. The property is located at 4379 W. McClure Ave and is zoned R-5, Limited Multi-Family Residence District.)
6. Public Hearing: Rezoning for 3706 Florida Ave
(Superintendent John Hutton, on behalf of Gurnee School District 56, is requesting to rezone the 0.79 acre parcel located at 3706 Florida Ave from R-2, Single Family Residence District to P, Public Land District.)
7. Public Hearing: Special Use Permit for Warren Township High School
(Kevin Liebe, on behalf of Warren Township High School, is requesting a Special Use Permit to allow the installation of an electronic (LED) message board on a freestanding (ground) sign located at the school’s south entrance on an existing parking island. The property is located at 500 N. O’Plaine Rd and is zoned P, Public Land District.)
