Gurnee, IL]– At 1:16 PM, the Gurnee 911 center received calls of a possible shooting incident at the Anthony Auto Group dealership located at 7225 Grand Ave.  Responding officers located two individuals with unknown type wounds.  One male was seriously wounded in the neck and the other had a wound to his hand.  A third was located nearby who was also seriously injured.

After the dealership was secured and the immediate area searched, it was determined that there were only the three males involved.  There was no evidence of a gun involved.  Two of the subjects had wounds from an edged weapon; the third may have been struck by their vehicle.

The male with the neck wound was transported by Gurnee Fire Paramedics to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville where he was pronounced deceased.  The male with the hand wound is suspected of inflicting those wounds.

The other male that was injured is in serious condition at Advocate Condell Medical Center.

There are no other suspects believed to be involved in this incident.  The incident is believed to have begun inside a vehicle the three were traveling in on Grand Avenue.  The vehicle apparently stopped in the area of the Anthony dealership.  One of the victims entered the service area of the dealership and employees started calling police.

Information regarding what initiated this incident is still under investigation and the investigation is being turned over to the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force.
