Washington Street from Tri-State Parkway to Hunt Club Road
Final paving has been completed and landscape restoration remains. Construction zone speed limits will be posted until all the restoration is completed.
The pedestrian path on the north side of Washington Street and east of Hunt Club Road will not be completed as part of the current roadway project as it is outside the project limits which stop about 1200' east of Hunt Club Road (where the roadway used to narrow to 2 lanes). The Village is aware of this much needed path and we will be working with the Lake County Division of Transportation to see if we can facilitate the installation.
We are recommending that pedestrians and bicyclist cross Hunt Club Road at Dada Drive. The roadway serving Woodland Intermediate School connects into the pedestrian path on Cemetery Road and then south to Washington Street and then over to the Des Plaines trail.

Work consists of routing out cracks and then filling them with a rubberized sealant to prevent the intrusion of water and grit into the pavement section. Crack sealing work for 2011 will occur later this month at various locations throughout the Village. Fast moving lane closures can be expected to facilitate this work.
