Gurnee F.O.P. Hosts Third Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, August 12th

Gurnee, IL – The Gurnee Fraternal Order of Police Social Lodge #266 will host the 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast in conjunction with Gurnee Days, on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

Pancake breakfasts will be served at the Viking Dance Hall (in Viking Park), 4374 Old Grand Avenue.  Tickets for the pancake and sausage breakfast are available at the door at a cost of $6.00, seniors (55 & over) $5.00, children 6 years and under are free. There will also be a drawing for a door prize.  The winner need not be present to win.  Carryout meals are available.

The Gurnee F.O.P. Social Lodge is a charitable organization made up of the men and women of the Gurnee Police Department who are dedicated to serving those in need within the community.  One of our local major recipients is the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center.  The Advocacy Center is committed to providing a safe environment for children who are victims of abuse.  Their goal is to investigate and help successfully prosecute offenders of child abuse without causing further trauma to the victims.
