GURNEE, IL – On Thursday, September 27th, 2012, Warren-Waukegan Fire Protection District President Phillip DeRuntz will formally present the keys of a new ambulance and a new paramedic rescue pumper to Mayor Kristina M. Kovarik for the use of the Gurnee Fire Department.
The donated ambulance is a 2012 Road Rescue model purchased from Fire Service, Inc. Both units were customized for the Gurnee Fire Department.

“The donation of these units validates the Fire Protection District’s long commitment to work in unison with the Gurnee Fire / Rescue Organization to uphold the high standards we are known for. The actions of Warren-Waukegan Fire Protection Board will lead to a direct improvement in our operational efforts.
