Notice to Residents and Business Regarding Aggressive Electrical Supply Companies

Recently, the Village has again received a number of complaints regarding aggressive electrical companies soliciting residents and businesses in the area.  Please note that these companies do not represent Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), the Village or the Village's aggregation program.  Unless you intend to join the program offered by these callers, please do not give them your ComEd account number or a copy of your ComEd bill.  If you are unsure if a caller is an actual ComEd representative, ask them to give you your account number.  Only ComEd employees would have access to this information.  If you find that you have been switched without your permission, contact ComEd immediately using the instructions found on the notice of conversation letter you will receive from ComEd to cancel the change.

For any questions, please contact Village Hall at (847) 599-7500.  For information on the Village's aggregation program, visit the "Electrical Aggregation" page of our website.
