Stonebrook area residents had their most recent Neighborhood Watch meeting on 04/03/14. The meeting was facilitated by Officer Bill Stashkiw. The 57-minute audio recording of the meeting is attached.

The next regularly-scheduled meeting for the area is slated for October 2nd, 2014 or sooner should the need arise. An official notice will be circulated when the date is closer.

Police Activity Summary:

4,232 police calls for service have been generated by the 4 patrol beats that make up Stonebrook neighborhoods during all of 2014. Historically, the annual average is 3,529.

255 of the calls during 2014 were for Illinois Uniform Crime Report (IUCR) crimes. The rest of the police calls are considered quasi-criminal, traffic, and service-related.

Since January 2008- 21,180 calls for service have been responded to in the neighborhoods; 1,521 of them IUCR crimes. The calls for service to IUCR crime ratio in the area is roughly 7.1%.


Officers Kelly Hansen and Dan Ruth gave the group a presentation on the myths and realities of sex offender registration laws.
