NEW! Gurnee Unveils Online Permitting Application - OneStop Gurnee

In an effort to simplify the building permit application process and make it more convenient for residents and businesses, the Village of Gurnee has created a new website called OneStop Gurnee that allows users to submit some permit applications online. The site allows you to supply the information and materials required for permit submittal online, without having to make an initial visit to Village Hall. OneStop Gurnee will also allow you to track the progress of your permit application and, eventually, make payments online.

We are currently beta testing the 6 most commonly requested permit applications:  Fences, Re-Roofs, Siding, Window/Door Replacements, Furnace/Air Conditioners, and Right-of-Way Work (ROW). Once you are on the OneStop page, simply click on the permit you would like, fill out the requested information, and upload any required documents (such as survey plats). When you are ready, submit your application to Village staff for review. Once approved, you will need to come to the Village Hall to submit payment and pick up your permit.

If the permit for which you need to apply is not listed below, you please fill out a building application, print it, and return it to the Village Hall. Please visit http://www.gurnee.il.us/community_dev/building_safety/building_apps for a printable application.

You will need to provide the following information during the application process or your permit application will NOT be successfully submitted to Village of Gurnee staff for processing. Additionally, some homeowners' associations require association approval prior to the start of some home improvement projects. Please be sure to check with your homeowners' associations to determine if a review is necessary.

Required Submittals will be uploaded and need to be one of the following formats:  PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, TXT, or Microsoft Office document. (Maximum file size: 25MB.)
