Halloween: 2016 Trick-or-Treating on Sunday, October 30th from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Trick-or-treating in the Village of Gurnee will be held on Sunday, October 30th from 2pm-5pm. 

The Village also asks that you be respectful of your neighbors while trick-or-treating--go only to homes of people you know. If you have questions regarding trick-or-treating hours, please contact the Village of Gurnee Police Department at (847) 599-7000.

Gurnee Police and Firefighter Charity Golf Outing

The Gurnee Fire Department's Local 3598 and the Police Department's FOP 266 are teaming up to start an annual charity golf outing on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at Bittersweet Golf Course (875 Almond Road, Gurnee, IL 60031).  It will be a best ball, scramble format outing starting at 10 am.  The goal of this outing is to bring the different departments of the Village together for a day of fun, while at the same time raising money for charity.

Police Department Seeking Participants for Upcoming CPA Class

The Gurnee Police Department is currently seeking participants for the upcoming Citizen Police Academy class. The session begins on August 25, 2016.

The Gurnee Citizen Police Academy is a 36-hour block of instruction designed to give the public a working knowledge of the practices, policies, and procedures governing the police department. The instruction consists of twelve 3-hour blocks conducted on a weekly basis.

The Records Division is the repository of all official Department generated reports and citations.  Our primary focus is to ensure the integrity of the Department’s records management system and to maintain data in a variety of information systems to be retrieved as needed. 

The records division consists of:
