Gurnee resident Adam Germann will be holding his sixth annual holiday light show at 4968 Prairie Oak Road from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Sunday, January 5th. Adam, a recent graduate of Tribeca Flashpoint Academy in Chicago, is using a combination of computer software and intelligent lighting to shine a light on hunger. The show features holiday lights programmed to match several holiday-themed songs. Viewers can tune their car radios to 87.9 FM and listen to the music. A preview of last year’s show can be seen on YouTube .
As part of the show, viewers are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items in a donation box in the front yard. Donations will be given to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Adam's goal is to raise 400 items for donation. Donations will be accepted any time before, during or after the light show.
