Holiday Tree Collection Waste Management will collect Christmas trees on the following dates:
Trees placed out after the last pickup date will not be collected. In order for a tree to be collected, it must be placed at the curb or the edge of the road by 7:00 a.m. on the pick-up day. All lights and decorations must be removed. In addition, the trees should not be placed in plastic bags. Trees over 6 feet should be cut in half so one person can handle them. Also, trees should be placed on top of the snow. Trees buried under the snow could result in Waste Management not collecting them. Failure to remove decorations, or placing the tree in a plastic bag, will result in the tree not being collected that week and, consequently, the resident will have to wait until the following week for the tree to be collected. Please note: Wreaths or other natural holiday decor will not be accepted; those items must be disposed of in your regular refuse container on your regular pickup day. The special pickup dates listed above are for trees only. |
