the Fiscal Year May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014.

Call to Order

Mayor Kovarik called the public hearing to order at 7:16 p.m.

Mr. Muetz said following the passage of the annual budget, the Village must set the annual appropriation.  The appropriation ordinance establishes the Village’s legal spending limits for the fiscal year.   As in the past, the General Fund, 911 Fund, Capital Improvement Fund, Utility Operating / Surplus Funds have been increased by 25% of the budgeted amounts.  This increase covers any budget category that may go over budget.  He said this does not change the departments’ responsibility to spend within their total department budget.  All other funds, including the Motor Fuel Tax, Impact Fee, Bond Fund, Special Service Area, Golf Course, and Police / Fire Pension Funds are appropriated as budgeted.


Trustee Balmes motioned, seconded by Trustee Park to recommend the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014.

Motion Carried.







It was moved by Trustee Park, seconded by Trustee Ross, to adjourn the Public Hearing.


Voice Vote:      ALL AYE:         Motion Carried.


Mayor Kovarik adjourned the Public Hearing at 7:19 p.m.
