MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE
GURNEE VILLAGE BOARD
GURNEE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
DECEMBER 31, 1987
The meeting was called to order at
4:00 p.m. by Mayor Welton.
Roll Call, Present: Hensgen, Petropoulos,
Zelenko Absent: Yost, Rocheleau, Smith.
Other officials present: Robert R.
Trigg, Village Administrator
W. Howard
Swanson, Village Attorney
Mayor Welton announced the purpose
of this Special Meeting was to consider the request of Liquor
License Holders to obtain an extension of operating hours from
2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on January 1, 1988.
Petropoulos moved, seconded by Hensgen,
to approve the extension of operating hours from 2:00 a.m. to
3:00 a.m. on New Year's Eve, January l 7
1988, as requested by all liquor
license holders and per precedent of previous years.
Roll Call, Aye: Hensgen, Petropoulos,
Zelenko, Welton.
Nay: None. Absent:
Yost, Rocheleau, Smith. Motion Carried
Mayor Welton suggested that consideration
might be made of changing the Liquor License Ordinance in that
the Liquor Commissioner could grant such extensions, upon request.
After discussion, it was decided to consider at the ne~t regular
meeting.
Zelenko moved, seconded by Hensgen,
to adjourn the meeting.
All Ayes. Motion Carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:11
p.m. by Mayor Welton.
