Two Weeks of Unlimited Landscape Waste Collection Begins Monday, April 5th

Waste Management will begin two weeks of unlimited landscape waste collection on Monday, April 5th and continue through Friday, April 16th. Collection will take place on your regular pick-up day and is open to all Gurnee residents. In order for the landscape waste to be collected, it must be containerized in one of the following ways:

  1. In a Kraft-type paper bag not to exceed 45 lbs.
  2. Rigid cans not to exceed 32-gallons (such as a regular garbage can).
  3. Bundles of brush not to exceed two feet in diameter by four feet long and weighing no more than 60 pounds with no individual branch being greater than three inches in diameter. Must be bundled and tied with twine or string in distinct piles.

Landscape waste must be placed at the curb or the edge of the road by 6:00 a.m. on your regular trash pick-up day. Materials placed after 6:00 a.m. may not be collected.
