Holiday Train & Holiday Lights Taking Place Thursday, December 8th!
Bring the family and join the community to celebrate the holiday season on Thursday, December 8th! The night will begin with the arrival of the "Holiday Train" at Viking Park, followed by our “Holiday Lights” event at Welton Plaza on Old Grand Avenue. The event is FREE, and everyone is welcomed to attend.

The fun begins! Enjoy snacks, DJ, a petting zoo, and time to visit with Santa Claus. Please bring your non-perishable food items to donate to the Northern Illinois Food Bank and receive a ticket to the snack tent! |

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is scheduled to arrive featuring a holiday concert performance by Lindsay Ell and JoJo Mason! |

Once the train departs, walk to Welton Plaza for our Holiday Lights event 5:30-7:30pm, featuring musical performances, food trucks & snacks, hot cocoa, DJ, photo booth, craft station, s’more making, visits with Santa Claus, and an amazing holiday lights display! |
