Ken Hellstern, David Barnett, Bob Amaden and Chairman Aho
Members Absent: Carl Cepon
Other Officials Present: Jon Wildenberg,
Director of Building & Zoning; Bud Reed, Village Engineer;
Butch Maiden, Rolf C. Campbell & Assoc.; and Barbara Rominski,
Village Attorney
1. The meeting was called to order
by Chairman Aho, at 7:30 P.M.
2. Mr. Amaden moved, seconded by Mr.
Rudny, to accept the Minutes of June 20, 1990 as presented. Roll
Call Vote: Ayes: Robison, Rudny, Barnett, Amaden & Aho Nays:
None Motion Carried 5-0
3. Final Plat: Gurnee Mills
Mr. Ulvis Grinvald, Western Development,
and Mr. David Riefman, Rudnick & Wolfe, were in attendance
to present information to the Commission. This final plat is for
the division of the main mall ~n(i

Mr. Riefman explained that this plat
has gone through review with the State, County and Village.
Discussion was made as to the division
of lots and blocks for berm and detention purposes.
IDOT has approved two entrances on
Grand Avenue for the site.
Mr. Reed stated that this plat is in
general conformance with the Annexation Agreement and Village
ordinances and is recommended for apProval, subiect to minor plat
revisions.
Mr. Rudny moved, seconded by Mr. Amaden,
to forward a favorable recommendation to the Village Board with
regard to the Gurnee Mills Final Plat, subject to minor plat revisions.

& Aho Nays: None
4. Consideration of request from Cambridge
Homes, Inc., to amend development criteria for Phase I of Fairway
Ridge; and to amend the development criteria and development plan
for Phase ll of Fairway Rid~e.
Mr. Hal Francke, Rudnick & Wolfe,
attorney; Mr. Mike Kephart, architect; Mr. David Yocca, land planner;
Mr. Doug Brown, Vice President, Cambridge Homes; and Mr. Paul
Ulotowski, Henderson & Bodwell, were in attendance to present
information on the petition.
Mr. Brown explained that this petition
is continuing the conceptual process brought forward in March
1 989.
