Top Stories of 2019: #7 Gurnee Wonder Woman Race Draws Thousands

On Sunday, June 9th, the Village of Gurnee hosted the DC Wonder Woman Run Series where participants could run or walk the Gurnee 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon race. The Wonder Woman run brought over 5,000 runners to the Gurnee area. This run series was featured in as many as 10 major cities across the United States and Canada. The event started at Six Flags Great America and finished with runners crossing the finish line at Gurnee Mills.
