The Village will be hosting a pumpkin composting event in coordination with SWALCO and SCARCE. The event will take place on Saturday, November 6th from 9:00 a.m. - noon at Gurnee Village Hall (325 N. O'Plaine Road). The event will also take any other organics, including gourds or hay bales. Please remove all candles before composting your pumpkins. All material donated is composted and used for creating soil.
