On August 6^th, the Gurnee Village Board approved a contract with Sports Facilities Advisory (SFA) to conduct a Feasibility Study for a possible privately-owned and operated sports tourism facility in Gurnee. The Phase 1 study will provide a pro forma with a five-year cash flow forecast, start-up budget, business plan, impact report and more. SFA currently plans to present the findings of the Phase 1 study in the first quarter of 2019.  Following this presentation, the Village Board will discuss whether it would like to move forward with a more in-depth Phase 2 Study.
