Ethylene Oxide Update - January 28th
A report was provided to the Gurnee Village Board on Monday, January 28th regarding ethylene oxide in Lake County. The video from this presentation can be viewed here.
Residents will be required to obtain new yard waste stickers beginning June 1st. Your cooperation in ceasing to use old Waste Management stickers and acquiring new stickers is appreciated and will assist the transition process.
Residents who already paid Waste Management for the yard waste subscription were charged a prorated rate and their subscription service will be transferred over to LRS. Further information, regarding the transition can be found at www.gurnee.il.us/LRStransition.

Mulch is still available on a Self-Serve basis only at the Public Works facility.
