During the evening hours of Sunday, June 29th and continuing into the morning hours of Monday, June 30th, the Village’s contractor (Clarke Environmental Management) will conduct a community-wide mosquito abatement treatment depending on weather conditions. This spraying will be the first treatment of the season. While the spraying does not pose a risk to residents, those who are sensitive to odors or have chemical sensitivities may want to keep their windows and doors closed during the treatment.
A report was provided to the Gurnee Village Board on Monday, January 28th regarding ethylene oxide in Lake County. The video from this presentation can be viewed here.
