The Village of Gurnee recognizes that a peaceful protest is taking place on Sunday, June 7th at Viking Park at 4:00 p.m. The event is organized by students of Warren Township High School and the YWCA Lake County. Village of Gurnee Officials, the Gurneee Police Department and the Gurnee Park District have worked with the organizers to ensure the safest event possible for attendees and the community at large. All parties involved are committed to having this be a peaceful event.

 

We ask that attendees be mindful of social distancing requirements and that they wear masks when possible. We also ask that attendees are considerate of neighbors when parking and that they do their part to help keep Viking Park clean.
