2021 Consolidated Election Petition Packets Available

The April 6, 2021, Consolidated Election will include the following Village of Gurnee offices:

Mayor                  –    1 Full Term Mayor
Village Clerk         –    1 Full Term Clerk
Village Trustee      –    3 Full Term Trustees

Petition Packets will be available starting Tuesday, September 22, 2020, for candidates seeking office. Packets will be available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Gurnee Village Hall, 325 N. O’Plaine Road. The first date to circulate a nominating petition is Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Petitions may not be circulated prior to this date. The last day to circulate a nominating petition is Monday, December 21, 2020.
The election official will begin accepting candidate nomination papers for the positions  starting  Monday, December 14, 2020, at Gurnee Village Hall located at 325 N. O’Plaine Road. Village offices will be open each day of the filing period from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with the exception of Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th. The petition filing period will conclude at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020.
