Free Unlimited Yard Waste Collection Taking Place the Weeks of April 1st and April 8th

During the weeks beginning April 1st and April 8th, the Village’s refuse/recycling hauler will be collecting unlimited containerized landscape waste at no charge to the customer or the Village. This collection will take place on the regular pick-up day.

In order for the landscape waste to be collected, it must be containerized in one of the following ways:

1. Kraft-type paper bag not to exceed 45 lbs.
2. Rigid cans not to exceed 32-gallons (regular garbage can).
3. Bundles of brush not to exceed 2 feet in diameter by 4 feet long and weighing no more than 60 pounds with no individual branch being greater than 3 inches in diameter. Must be bundled and tied with twine or string in distinct piles.

Landscape waste must be placed at the curb or the edge of the road by 6:00 a.m. on your pick-up day. Failure to have material out at this time will result in the waste not being collected. As a result, the resident will have to wait until the annual collection program begins and follow the regular collection guidelines.
