This update includes:

• IEPA Environmental Justice Notification issued related to Vantage Construction Permit Application
• Application does NOT increase production or emission caps

On November 4, 2025 the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) issued an Vantage Specialties Inc Environmental Justice Notification Letter related to Vantage Specialties Inc Construction Permit Revision Application.  Vantage has applied for a construction permit revision related to remote contingency improvements.  The improvements focus on incorporating finishing vessels into the existing scrubber system.  The application does NOT increase production or emission caps.  The Village has included a copy of the Environmental Justice notification and permit application for reference.  The permit application is currently under review by the IEPA.
