Large Brush and Branch Collection Starting Wednesday, July 29
Beginning on Wednesday, July 29th, Gurnee Public Works will begin large brush and branch collection on the far eastside of the Village working west as progress is made. Large branches should be placed near the edge of the roadway for collection.
To the extent possible, stacking the branches neatly with all cut ends facing the roadway will expedite collection. Smaller branches and twigs should be bundled for collection by LRS on the resident’s regularly scheduled collection day. Brush should be bundled and tied with twine or string in distinct piles. Bundles of brush not to exceed 2 feet in diameter by 4 feet long and weigh no more than 60 pounds. Please note, residents with extensive damage that are not able to stack the debris by the roadway are encouraged to contact a private company for assistance.
