Supporting Small Business

Small, independent businesses are the heart of our community. Come out to shop and dine small in Gurnee on Small Business Saturday, November 25th and all year round for all of your shopping needs. Small Business Saturday was started by American Express in 2010 encouraging holiday shoppers to shop local. Since then, Small Business Saturday has become a national movement for small businesses during the busiest shopping season.

When thinking about gifts for friends and family,  shop at a local bakery, restaurant, coffee shop, salon or neighborhood store. While out and about, dine at one of Gurnee's many small business restaurants. For every dollar spent at a small business, 67 cents stays within the local economy. Shopping at small and local businesses is a great way to support our vibrant community while directly supporting a community member, family and person behind the counter.

Shop small this holiday season and year round.
