Small Business Saturday was started by American Express in 2010 encouraging holiday shoppers to shop local. Since then, Small Business Saturday has become a national movement for small businesses during the busiest shopping season.

While out and about, dine at one of Gurnee's many small business restaurants. For every dollar spent at a small business, 67 cents stays within the local economy.
