Summary:

The Gurnee Police Department is seeking applicants for School Crossing Guard.

Work Begin Date - mid-August 2022 - specific date to be determined based on school schedule.

Pay - $22.50 / hour plus paid training.  No prior experience is necessary. 

Work Hours - average 2 hours per school day; early morning and mid-afternoon on scheduled school days.  Specific hours are determined when assigned to crossing post. 

Work is performed outdoors.  Requires physical exertion such as walking and standing for extended periods of time.  Vehicular traffic hazards also present in work environment.

Pre-employment background investigation and drug screen if job offer is made.
